Blackberry Curve wont stop ringing?

I have a Blackberry Curve and all morning long the LED light has not stopped flashing and every few minutes the message ringer keeps going off but I have no new texts, emails, or even FB notifications. I have tried turning it off and on, taking the battery out, pressing the end and back buttons but nothing seems to work. Has anyone else had this problem and/or know what to do about it?
