Need help trying to set up at&t (bellsouth) dry loop, naked, stand alone (whatever) dsl?

I've been paying, sometime now for standard phone and dsl service, but like most people I never EVER use the home phone anymore. I even have the ringer turned off. It's just sitting there collecting dust and costing me around $30 a month. I'm hoping someone out there who's been in the same boat who might have some tips on dealing with Bellsouth att on the process of dropping the phone and keeping "stand alone" dsl. I know it can be done, but I also know it's a pain in the a** dealing w/the PHONE MAN! Thanks in advance.
